Please reach us at helen@activemindcoaching.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Coaching focuses on “what now?” rather than “why?” It’s about helping you move forward, build systems that work for your brain, and achieve your goals. While therapy often looks into your past and emotional healing, coaching is future-focused, strategy-based, and collaborative. I’m not a therapist—and I work best with clients who are ready to take action with kind accountability.
No diagnosis is required. Many of my clients are self-identified and simply want to explore tools that align with how their brains actually work. If something isn’t working—and you suspect ADHD might be part of the picture—coaching can still be helpful.
Coaching is currently not covered by Medicare in Australia but we're hoping this will change!
It depends on the type of coaching required. I also do take some clients on at a significantly reduced fee depending on circumstances. For more details feel free to reach out to me via the contact page.
Yes. I work with parents of kids with ADHD to build understanding, reduce conflict, and create calmer, more connected homes. Coaching focuses on tools that support the whole family, not just the child.
Confidentiality is of utmost importance in my coaching practice. I adhere to the International Coach Federation's (ICF) Code of Ethics, which includes strict guidelines for maintaining client confidentiality.
The sessions can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on the client's goals and are held via Zoom.
Give me a call or email here. We can chat about what’s going on, what kind of support you’re looking for, and whether coaching is the right fit. No pressure at all!
